She was a native of Tickfaw. Survivors include a son, Steve Ogima, Natalbany; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Her husband, Louis Ogima, preceded her in death, as did a son, Joseph Ogima, and numerous sisters and brothers. Visitation will be at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, Saturday from noon until 2 p.m. The Rev. Chris Eggelton will conduct the funeral at 2:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church, Tickfaw. He is preceded in death by his parents, John A Ogima Sr. and Caroletta Musgrove Ogima, and sister, Laura Ann Ogima Effler.
