OGMIBENE, STEVE, SR.
Steve Ogmibene Sr., 74 years old of Independence, died Tuesday, August 1,
2006, in North Oaks Medical Center.  He was born Saturday, May 28, 1932, in
Fluker, Louisiana, son of the late Jake and Josephine Mitra Ogima. 
Surviving are son, Steve Ogmibene Jr.; two daughters, DeAnna Mulkey, Linda
Thompson; six grandchildren, Ricky, Rachael & Kaci Thompson, Dustin &
Stephana Ogmibene, Brooke Mulkey; two brothers, Mike & Nick Ogima; and his
sister, Laura Rosenburg.  He was preceded in death by three brothers, John,
Johnny A., & Cosmo Ogima; and one sister, Virginia O. Holder.  Friends will
be received Friday, August 4, 2006, at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in
Hammond from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm.  Services will be held at Harry
McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, Friday, August 4, 2006 at 1:00 pm.
Interment will follow in the Stevens Cemetery, Independence.  Email
