OGUINYE, BARBARA JEAN McGOWAN
Barbara Jean McGowan Oguinye passed away at her home Sunday, July 21, 2013. 
She was born October 11, 1960 in Independence, Louisiana. She was the 
youngest of twelve children. Upon moving to Baton Rouge after college she 
worked in Early Childhood Education for twenty-five years. The family she 
leaves behind includes her husband of twenty-two years, her daughter, two 
brothers, five sisters and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Religious 
services will be held at 10 am on Friday, July 26, 2013 at Berean Seventh 
Day Adventist Church, Baton Rouge. Burial will follow in Holly Gardens
