OLIVIA, FRANCES KATHERINE
Frances Katherine Olivia, 96 years old of Hammond, LA, died Monday,
December 14, 2009, in Richard Murphy Hospice House.  She was born on
Sunday, November 23, 1913, in Hammond. she lived in Chicago for forty-four
years, then returned to Hammond in February of 2008.  Surviving are
sister-in-law, Victoria Olivia; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by sister, Mary Oliva; parents, Beneditto and
Marie Bongivani Olivia; brothers and sisters-in-law Salvatore and
Antoinette Oliva, Joseph and Augustine Oliva, Vincent and Sandra Olivia,
Nicholas and Josie Olivia and Dominick Oliva.  Friends will be received
Thursday, December 17, 2009, at St. Alberts Catholic Church from 8:00 a.m.
until services.  Services will be held at St. Albert Chapel & Catholic
Student Center, Thursday, December 17, 2009, at 10:00 a.m., with Fr. Randy
M. Cuevas, S.T.L. officiating.  Interment will follow in the Rose Memorial
Park Cemetery, Hammond, Louisiana 70401.  In lieu of flowers, any
contributions may be made to the Richard Murphy Hospice House, 1109 S.
Chestnut St., Hammond LA. 70403.  Harry McKneely and Son are in charge of

OLIVIA, JOSEPHINE LALUMIA "JOSIE" 
A resident of Hammond, she died Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004, at North Oaks
Medical Center, Hammond. She was 74 and a native of Hammond. Visitation at
Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday,
Nov. 21, and 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Monday. Religious service at Holy Ghost
Catholic Church, Hammond, at 10 a.m. Monday. Interment in Rose Memorial
Cemetery. She is survived by a son, Nicholas "Nick" Olivia Jr., Hammond;
two daughters, Marsha Lupo, Hammond, and Marie Dunlap, Oklahoma City; two
sisters, Virginia Ann Lalumia, Hammond, and Mary Monistere, Baton Rouge;
and seven grandchildren, Zachary Paul Lupo, Dallas, Matthew Ryan Lupo, Paul
Ryan Lupo, Mallory Rebecca Olivia and Tyler Nicholas Olivia, all of
Hammond, Tracy Lane Dunlap, Austin, Texas, and Leslie Dyan Westlund,
Oklahoma City. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Olivia
Sr.; parents, Annie Spitale Lalumia and Manzueto Lalumia; and a sister,
Lena Chavers. She was a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary
and Woodmen of the World and she was past president of the Hospital Guild
Auxiliary. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Richard Murphy
Hospice Foundation, 16013 Halbert Lane, Hammond, LA 70403.

A resident of Hammond, she died Sunday, Nov. 10, 2002, at Lakeview Regional
Medical Center. She was 78 and a native of Tickfaw. Visitation at Harry
McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday and
from 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Wednesday. Religious service at Holy Ghost
Catholic Church, Hammond, at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Interment in Rose Memorial
Park Cemetery. Survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Jane and Frank
Wardell, Baton Rouge; a son and daughter-in-law, Vincent and Mary Hoda
Olivia, Denham Springs; five grandchildren, Amber Levisee, Kristen
Oliveaux, Brian Wardell, Kristopher Olivia and Jordan Olivia; two step-
granddaughters, Megan Hoda and Tabitha Hoda; three great-grandchildren,
Matthew Levisee, Jacob Levisee and Hailey Oliveaux; two sisters, Frances
Tortorice, Independence, and Mary Prine, Chalmette; and two brothers,
Salvadore Lamonte and Anthony Lamonte, both of Hammond. Preceded in death
by her husband, Vincent H. Olivia; parents, Tony and Josephine Anzange
Lamonte; and two brothers, Joseph and Larry Lamonte.
