Allen Eddie O'Neal, Sr. was born on Feb. 25, 1952 and died at his residence in Ponchatoula on August 7, 2008. He was 56 years old. A native of New Orleans, Mr. O'Neal was a Tangipahoa Parish Deputy. Survivors include two sons, Allen O'Neal, Jr. and his wife, Cassie, Timothy Paul O'Neal; daughter, Tammy Marie Bowman and her husband, Allen; and 4 grandchildren, Derek Thompson, Kirston O'Neal, Katie O'Neal, and Kyle Bowman. He is also survived by one sister, Susie Hoyt and one brother, Stanley O'Neal. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy O'Neal; parents, Stanley and Mabel O'Neal; and a nephew, Bobby Derks. Officer O'Neal was a US Army veteran. Visitation at Geisler Funeral Home in Ponchatoula on Saturday, August 9 from 10 am until the religious service at 12 noon. She was 84 and a native of Walker. She was born Dec. 15, 1934, in Vicksburg, Miss., daughter of the late Charles and Eleanor Marshall Middleton, and wife of the late Wilson O'Neal. She formerly worked as a clerk for the Louisiana Insurance Rating Commission. She is survived by two daughters, Dorothy O'Neal Calandro of Baton Rouge and Elizabeth O'Neal Doerfler of Prairieville; four sisters, Margaret Middleton Broussard of Baton Rouge, Eleanor Middleton Anderson of DeRidder, Bobbie Middleton Rube and Judy Hendrick Simms, both of Baton Rouge; two brothers, Charles "Bubba" Middleton and Edward "Eddie" Middleton, both of Baton Rouge; three granddaughters, Rachel Calandro, Monica Calandro and Mary Margaret Calandro; and three grandsons, Stephen Doerfler, Alexander Doerfler and Nicholas Doerfler.
