O'SULLIVAN, RAYMOND WILLIAM
Raymond William O'Sullivan, 78, of Hammond, died Thursday, Oct. 15, 2009, 
at his residence. He was born Wednesday, July 8, 1931, in New Orleans, son 
of the late Thomas J. and Mildred Coe O'Sullivan. Mr. O'Sullivan was a 
member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. He was the former King of Omega and an 
honorary member of the Hammond Garden Club. He loved to golf and was a 
member of the Oak Knoll Country Club. Mr. O'Sullivan was also a volunteer 
for Richard Murphy Hospice for many years. Surviving are his wife of 45 
years, Louise Kinchen O'Sullivan; daughters and son-in-law, Lillie Marie 
Odom, and Carolyn L. and Gene Davenport; 10 grandchildren and numerous 
great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his daughter, Jeannie L. Drago; 
and brother, Fred O'Sullivan. Friends will be received Friday, Oct. 16, 
from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in 
Hammond and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Bethlehem Baptist 
Church in Albany. Services will be held at Bethlehem Baptist Church on 
Saturday at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Leon Dunn and the Rev. Michael Burnes 
officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. 
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Richard Murphy Hospice
