Shirley was a lifelong resident of the city that she loved, Biloxi, MS, and a graduate of Biloxi High School. She was a Catholic and member of Nativity B.V.M. Parish. She was formerly employed with S.H. Kress (that cute little redhead at the sewing notions counter), Eddie's Drug Store, Pringle Ford, Inc., and for the last 27 years Biloxi Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Ouille was preceded in death by her parents, Albert L. Jacquet and Emily Thompson Jacquet; as well as her sister, Katherine Johanna Jacquet. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, John L. Ouille, Sr.; her three children, Susan (Ken) Holden, Ponchatoula, LA, John (Dotti) Ouille, Jr., Gulfport, MS, Georgia (Bill) Bryant, Biloxi; her three grandchildren, Blake Holden and Brianna Holden (Ponchatoula, LA), and Brandy (Robby) Faulk (Dallas, TX); as well as her sister, Patricia Jacquet; and her brother, Albert (Marie) Jacquet, Jr., and many well loved nieces, nephews and cousins. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thank-you to Biloxi Regional Medical Center, Dee Colon at Mississippi Blood Services, and North Oaks Medical Center for their dedicated and compassionate care, as well as family, friends, and members of the community for their prayers and well wishes, and most importantly their blood donations. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday, September 30, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Nativity B.V.M. Catholic Cathedral where friends called from 9 a.m. until service time. Interment followed in Biloxi City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to any of the following charities: The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 733 3rd Ave., New York, NY 10017; The American Diabetes Assoc., 16 Northtown Drive, Suite 100, Jackson, MS 39211; or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, One St. Jude Place Building, Memphis, TN 38148-0552.
