James was born Saturday, April 18, 1931, in Norco La., He was a retired technical sergeant in the Air Force with 29 years of service. Surviving are longtime companion, Pratoom Murray of Ponchatoula; sister, Jeanette O. Rushing of Ponchatoula; three brothers, Russell J. Ourso of Ponchatoula, Ernest L. Ourso of Ponchatoula, and Sidney M. Ourso of Albany; Pratoom's son, Bobby Murray; Pratoom's daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Todd Vicknair; Pratoom's grandchild, Mitchel Vicknair; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
