He died Friday, Aug. 11, 2006. Survived by his fiancée, Andrea Redmon; parents, Charles and Karen Overstreet and Hope and Byron Henderson of Baton Rouge; his grandfather, Odell Starkey of Livingston; a special aunt, Yvonne Regan of Raleigh, N.C.; and a large extended family and friends. He was general manager of Rotolo's in Hammond. To meet this funny, special man was to like him. He will be missed by many. A special thanks to his extended Rotolo's family, who encouraged him in the field he loved so much. He was born on Wednesday, March 23, 1960, in Jacksonville, FL, son of the late Kenneth M.Overstreet, Sr. and Beverly Ballard Overstreet. He was a US Marine Corp Veteran. Surviving are his 3 brothers, Kenneth M. Overstreet Jr., James David Overstreet, Earl Daniel Overstreet; 2 sisters, Linda Gail Overstreet Reagan and Brenda Overstreet Doughty. A Memorial Service will be held at Mt Nebo Baptist Church, 64671 Highway 1054, Roseland, LA 70456, on Saturday, August 15, 2009, at 5:00 pm, with Rev. Starrett Cleveland officiating. Interment will follow in the Amite Cemetery, at a later date.
