She was 64 and a native of Breda, Netherlands. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 1 p.m. until religious service at 3 p.m. Friday. Interment in Greenlawn Cemetery, Hammond. Survived by her husband, Dr. John Overton, Hammond; two sons, John Joseph Overton and Henry Davis Overton, both of Baton Rouge; two daughters, Miriam Carroll DeVlugt, Strathroy, Canada, and Chloe Renee Overton, Hammond; five grandchildren; three brothers, Paul Kryger, Las Vegas, Mark Kryger, Forsyth, Mo., and Hugo Kryger, Longview, Texas; and two sisters, Marguerite Ciolkosz, State College, Pa., and Jozine Biessner, St. Paul, Minn.
