PAINE, LINDA MULKEY
Linda "Bunny" Mulkey Paine, 63 years old, born Jan. 24, 1949, in 
Independence, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at Tangi Pines Nursing 
Center.  She is survived by her husband, Bobby Paine; sister, Sally Mulkey; 
4 brothers, Clint and wife Sandi, Gordon and wife Linda, Mickey and wife 
JoAnn, and Lonnie and wife Ceclia Mulkey; 3 children, Gene Robles, Bonnie 
Sue Smith, and Marty Smith; 8 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; 
and best friend, Karen Phares.  She is preceded in death by her parents, 
Mahalie Mae Effler and Hillery Joseph Mulkey Sr.; 3 brothers, Billy Jr.; 
Raymond, and Charles Mulkey.  Visitation will be held at Harry McKneely & 
Son Funeral Home in Hammond, Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, from 11 a.m. until the 
funeral service at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow

PAINE, ROBERT EDWARD
Toney, Ala. -- Robert Edward Paine, 80, died on Thursday, May 20, 2004, at 
Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Ala.  He was a former resident of Kenner 
and a retired chemical distribution specialist for St. Bernard Parish. He 
was also a U.S. Army veteran of WWII.  He is survived by three sisters, 
Vivian Paine Toney of Alabama, Elizabeth Peterson of Arabi and Beverly 
Shealey of Kenner, and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in 
death by two sisters, Joyce Bourg and May Belle Seales; and a brother, 
William C. Paine Jr.  Visitation will be today at McKneely Funeral Home in 
Amite, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and on Monday, from 8 a.m. until 11.  
Religious services will be conducted by Rev. Lane Nelson. Burial will 
follow in Tangipahoa Cemetery.
