She is survived by her husband, Bobby Paine; sister, Sally Mulkey; 4 brothers, Clint and wife Sandi, Gordon and wife Linda, Mickey and wife JoAnn, and Lonnie and wife Ceclia Mulkey; 3 children, Gene Robles, Bonnie Sue Smith, and Marty Smith; 8 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and best friend, Karen Phares. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mahalie Mae Effler and Hillery Joseph Mulkey Sr.; 3 brothers, Billy Jr.; Raymond, and Charles Mulkey. Visitation will be held at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, from 11 a.m. until the funeral service at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Tangipahoa Cemetery. He was a former resident of Kenner and a retired chemical distribution specialist for St. Bernard Parish. He was also a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. He is survived by three sisters, Vivian Paine Toney of Alabama, Elizabeth Peterson of Arabi and Beverly Shealey of Kenner, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Joyce Bourg and May Belle Seales; and a brother, William C. Paine Jr. Visitation will be today at McKneely Funeral Home in Amite, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and on Monday, from 8 a.m. until 11. Religious services will be conducted by Rev. Lane Nelson.
