PALASSIE, ELIZABETH JEAN LEONARD
Elizabeth Jean Leonard Palassie, 72 years old of Hammond, formerly of New 
Orleans and Violet passed away Friday, September 6, 2013, at North Oaks 
Medical Center. Elizabeth was born on Tuesday, December 31, 1940, in 
Atlanta. Surviving are husband of 52 years, Joseph "Joe"Anthony Palassie, 
daughters & sons-in-law, Susan and Jerrod Henderson, Catherine and Tommy 
Lucas, grandchildren, Allison, Kate and Ben Lucas, brother, Urban "Sonny" 
Leonard. She is preceded in death by parents, Urban Leonard and Claire 
Fischer Leonard, sisters, Glyn York, Marion Gourgues, and Patricia 
McKinney. Friends will be received Wednesday, September 11, 2013 from 
11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Hammond. Services will be 
held at Funeral Home Chapel - Hammond, Wednesday, at 1:00 pm.
