He was 51 and a native of Hugoton, Kan. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Visitation at Jerusalem Baptist Church from 1 p.m. until religious service at 2 p.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. Stacy Morgan. Interment in church cemetery. Survived by his wife, Damaris Traylor Palmgren, Pumpkin Center; parents, Willard Dean and Myrtle Mae Searls Palmgren; two sons, Jason Dean Palmgren and Jeffery Allen Palmgren; a stepdaughter, Naomi Jane Callender; a grand- daughter, Amber Lynn Palmgren; and four brothers, Daniel Gene Palmgren, Dale Wayne Palmgren, Sammy Lynn Palmgren and Keith Leon Palmgren. ***************************************************************************
