Pantall, 53, who died Wednesday at the Wiginton Memorial Hospital will be held Friday from the Thomas Funeral Home. Interment will be in Greenlawn cemetery. Mrs. Pantall, the daughter of the late W. A. Bowers and Martha Norman Bowers was born in Pierce, Tenn. and with her parents moved to Hammond 42 years ago. For many years prior to World War 2 she served as home secretary of the American Red Cross, and during the war served at the Hammond Army Air Base as executive director of the Red Cross. She was also a member of the executive committee of the Ration Board during the war years. She was known as "Miss Corinne" by her many friends. She is survived by her husband, who owns and operates a Shell Service station here; one daughter, Mrs. LeRoy G. C. Mr. O. C. Pantall, 58, died at home in Hammond, Saturday. A native of PA; moved here over 30 years ago. Funeral Sunday; interment in Greenlawn Cemetery, Hammond. Survived by widow; three daughters, Mrs. Nathan B. Tycer, Mrs. Claire Blache and Miss Grace Pantall; two sons, Jack of New Orleans and O. Funeral services for Oakley S. Pantall, 64, who died Wednesday at his home in Hammond will be held Friday from the Thomas Funeral Home. Interment will be in Greenlawn cemetery. His wife died on March 1 of this year. Born August 13, 1886 in Punxatawney, Penna., he had been a resident of Hammond since 1908. For a number of years he was manager of the Pantall Box Factory, owned by his brother, the late Fred L. Pantall. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Leroy G. Taylor, the former Miss Martha Ann Pantall, of Hammond; one sister, Mrs. Lillian Conwell of Montclair, N.J., who was the former Mrs. E. P.
