PAREDES, GUILLERMO E., SR. 
Guillermo E. "Willie" Paredes, Sr., 68 years old of Hammond, died Friday, 
April 23, 2010, at his residence.  He was born on Wednesday, January 7, 
1942, in Lima, Peru.  Mr. Paredes, Sr. worked at Jeff's Grocery. He was 
loved by everyone and will be missed by his family and friends.  Surviving 
are his daughter & son-in-law, Stephanie and Daniel Walker; son and
daughter-in-law, Guillermo E. Paredes, Jr. and Ann Paredes; 6 grand-
children, Lucy and Everett Walker, Jarrod Frosch, Joseph Peake, Alexis and 
Guillermo Paredes III; great-grandson, Austin Frosch; 3 sisters, Susana 
Paredes, Sonia Villacorta, and Yvonne Koch; and 4 nieces and nephews, Mark 
and Susan Woods, Rocio Diaz, and Miguel Martinetti; and ex-wife, June B. 
Paredes.  He is preceded in death by his mother, Jesus Veneros and father, 
Guillermo Paredes.  Friends will be received Monday, April 26, 2010, at the 
Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. 
Visitation will continue on Tuesday, April 27, 2010, from 9:00 a.m. until 
the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Ghost Catholic Church.
Interment will follow in the Parklawn Memorial Gardens.  An on-line guest
