PARENTON, DOLORES KEMP
A resident of Baton Rouge, she died at 7:25 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2000,
at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 83 and a native of
Independence. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home chapel, 825 Government
St., from 10 a.m. Friday until religious services at noon, conducted by the
Rev. Gerald H. Burns. Entombment in Greenoaks Memorial Park Mausoleum. 
Survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Sharen P. and William J. Burton,
Mobile, Ala.; a son and daughter-in-law, Vernon L. Parenton and Kathleen A.
Andrus, Baton Rouge; two sisters, Henrietta K. Aucoin, Baton Rouge, and
Margaret "Sue" K. Frey, Kentwood; and a grandson, Robert Scott Parenton,
Baton Rouge. Preceded in death by her husband, Vernon J. Parenton; parents, 
Hugh D. and Mary Huck Kemp; two sisters, Mary Lou K. Bickham and Nina K.
Cittadino; and two brothers, Hugh D. Jr. and John J. Kemp. She was a member
of St. Aloysius Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations for
breast cancer research may be sent to Susan G. Komen Foundation, P.O. Box
4096, Baton Rouge, LA 70821 or American Heart Association of Louisiana, 
3968 N. Blvd., Suite 200, Baton Rouge, LA 70806.
