She was 88 and a native of Roswell, N.M. Visitation at Grace Memorial Episcopal Church, Hammond, from 2 p.m. Sunday until religious service at 4 p.m. Interment in Parklawn Memorial Gardens. Survived by a daughter, Dorothy Vicknair, Hammond; a son, Donald Parish, Folsom; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Miriam Schmidt, Lancaster, Pa. Preceded in death by her husband, M.M. "Bugga Red" Parish; a son, David Parish; a granddaughter, Friday Haney; and five brothers, Gerald, Vance, Emmett, Byrl and Donald Tebbetts. She was a native of Bertrandville and a resident of Diamondhead. She was 85. A graveside service will be held at Amite Memorial Gardens at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, conducted by the Rev. Jack Nutter. She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Melvin J. Parish, Mount Laurel, N.J., Theodore A. and Betty Parish, Diamondhead, and Glenn D. and Joan Parish, Lafayette.
