Born Dec. 19, 1954, she was an educator for 32 years and had been employed by Zachary Community Schools. A kid at heart, she was a loving, free-spirited wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, who lived every day to its fullest. Ruby was a long-time resident and nurse in Hammond before moving to Arizona seven years ago to live near her daughters. She is survived by her sister, Nora Wiley of Hammond and NoraÕs children and grandchildren as well other family members who still live in the area. Survivors outside of Louisiana include her daughers in Arizona Sue and Lynn and their husbands, four granddaughters and eight great grandchildren. Services were held on May 14 at Sunland Memorial Park in Sun City, AZ, the site of her interment. She was a beloved gentle, kind and trustworthy mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, sister and aunt who made such a difference in all those whose lives she touched.
