PARMLEY, LEONARD DELL
Leonard Dell Parmley, 68 years old, of Ponchatoula, LA, died Thursday, June 
9, 2011, at his home.  He was born on Sunday, April 4, 1943, in Jackson, 
Michigan son of the late George and Irene Drude Parmley.  He was a retired 
Tower Manager at Louis Armstrong International Airport.  Surviving are his 
wife of 45 years Peggy Smoot Parmley; daughter & son-in-law, Sandra & 
Webster Neuman; daughter Sarah Parmley and her friend Robert Drake; son 
Philip Parmley and his friend Colleen Suchonic; son & daughter-in-law, 
Michael & Amy Parmley; 7 grandchildren Kalvin Ennis, Kendrick, Malik & 
Tyrick Neuman, Leah Parmley, Kaylee Bennett & Michael Parmley Jr.; brother 
George Parmley.  He is preceded in death by 3 brothers Bobby, Ralph & David 
Parmley.  Friends will be received Sunday, June 12, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. 
until 9:00 p.m. at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond.  Services 
will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 13, 2011 at Harry McKneely & 
Son in Hammond with Bro. Mitch Williams officiating.  Interment will follow 
in Holly Gardens Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to the American
