PARRISH, CLARA BURNS
Mrs. Clara Burns Parrish, 51, wife of W. R. Parrish, died in San Antonio,
TX Sunday.  Lived in Hammond several years; a native of St. Tammany parish;
daughter of the late Milton Burns and Mrs. Sarah Smith Burns.  She married
1st, Mr. Shaw, married 2nd, W. R. Parrish in Hammond.  Funeral at Onville,
north of Covington, Wednesday; interment in Burns Cemetery in 2nd Ward, St.
Tammany parish.  Survived by husband; two daughters, Miss Hazel Shaw and
Mrs. Edwin Nordyke; one son, Winston Shaw; five brothers, Louis and John
Burns of Bogalusa, Sidney and Will C. Burns of Baton Rouge, Howard Burns of
Onville; two sisters, Mrs. Josie Keen of Baton Rouge and Thomas Drummond
of Jackson, MS.

PARRISH, DARREN SCOTT
A resident of Kentwood, died at 5:20 p.m. on Monday, January 21, 2013 at 
Ochsner Medical Center in Jefferson. He was born February 28, 1971 in Baton 
Rouge and was 41 years of age. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, 
Friday, January 25, 2013, from 10 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m.

PARRISH, FRANCES MARIE
Frances Marie Parrish was born on April 13, 1952, and passed away at 
11:09 a.m. Friday, Feb. 12, 2010, at her home, surrounded by her loving
family. She was 57, a native of Independence and a resident of Tickfaw.
Frances was a member of First Baptist Church of Arcola. Frances is survived
by her fiancˇ, Kenneth Danna, Tickfaw; a daughter, Donna Edwards and friend
Paul Davidson Jr., Kentwood; a son, Darren Parrish and friend Virginia
Watson, Tickfaw; three grandsons, Seth Davidson, Kentwood, and Joseph
Hammons Jr. and Jonathan Clark, both of Tickfaw; a granddaughter, Megan
Gill, Kentwood; mother, Marie Walker Parrish, Roseland; second mother, Dot
Crouch, Haleyville, Ala.; seven sisters, Joyce Morris and husband Jim,
Springfield, Ala., Dorothy Allen and husband Larry, Greensburg, Peggy
Helsel and husband Willard, Roseland, Judy Parrish, Amite, Delores Parrish,
Morrisville, Texas, Cheryl Parrish, Liberty, Miss., and Patricia Parrish,
Alabama; five brothers, Hoyt Parrish and wife Sue, and Michael Parrish and
wife Lisa, all of Amite, Robert Earl Parrish and wife Angie, Greensburg,
Richard Lee Parrish, Hammond, and Barry Parrish, Livingston; and numerous
nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert
Parrish; and a brother, Joseph Parrish. Visitation at McKneely & Vaughn
Funeral Home, Amite, on Sunday, Feb. 14, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation
resumes at the funeral home on Monday, Feb. 15, from 8 a.m. until religious
service at 10:30 a.m., with Brother Bob Simpson officiating. Interment in
