He was a native of Mississippi, a self-employed owner of a radiator repair shop and a member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church, Brownsfield. Survivors include his wife, Audrey Partin, Baker; two daughters, Debra Hood, Maurepas, Carrie Partin, Walker; two sons, Leroy and Ronald Partin, Zachary; two stepsons, Frank Long, Baker, Billy Long, Alabama; two sisters, six brothers and nine grandchildren. His parents, Benjamin and Janie Ebey Partin, preceded him in death. Visitation will be at Charlet Funeral Home, Zachary, tonight from 6 to 8. Spring Creek -- Avos C. Partin, 68, a nursing assistant and native of Spring Creek, died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2004, at North Oaks Medical Center. Survivors include a daughter, Sandy Camarata of Independence; a son, Kenneth T. Partin of Kentwood; two sisters, Audrey Cutrer of Hammond and Millie Dunn of Independence; three brothers, Charles Cutrer of Summit, Miss., Arvy and Carl Cutrer both of Spring Creek; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Her husband, Harrison Partin; a brother, William Cutrer; and her parents, Ikey and Elma Brown Cutrer, preceded her in death. Visitation will be at McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, Thursday from 10 a.m. until the Rev. Brian Strickland and the Rev.
