She was 69. Visiting was at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday. Visiting at the funeral home, 8 a.m. until a prayer at 2 p.m. Wednesday, followed by religious services at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Interment in Greenlawn Cemetery. Survived by her husband, L.T. Patenotte, Hammond; two daughters, Deborah Patenotte Gautier and Mignonne Patenotte, both of Hammond; a son and daughter-in-law, Wyatt and Susan Patenotte, Hammond; five grandchildren, Thad Gautier, Christopher Gautier, Erin Gautier Dampeer, Cooley Patenotte and Cole Patenotte, all of Hammond; a brother, Herbert Stire, Mandeville; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, James A. and Estelle Stire; a brother, Alvin Stire; and a sister, Margie Stire Cazanove. She was active in the family business, a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and a loyal supporter of Hospice. He was 76. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and in the chapel 8 a.m. until service at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Interment in Greenlawn Cemetery. Survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Deborah Patenotte Grace and Leo Grace, and Mignonne Patenotte, all of Hammond; a son and daughter-in-law, Wyatt and Susan Patenotte, Hammond; five grand- children, Thad, Christopher and Erin Gautier, and Coole and Cole Patenotte; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by his wife, Betty Stire Patenotte; parents, John and Ethel Akers Patenotte; and sister, Betty Lee Patenotte Cobb. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Richard Murphy Hospice. He was owner of Patenotte Pool and Spa and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
