She was born on Sunday, August 25, 1929, in Little Rock, Arkansas, daughter of the late Ernest Eugene Pearson and the late Mittie Pansy Bradley Pearson. Ann was a native of Little Rock, Arkansas, a resident of Houston Texas for 56 years and a resident of Hammond for the past 16 years. Ann was a graduate of the University of Arkansas. Ms. Pearson retired from Exxon Production Research after 33 years. Ms. Pearson was a volunteer for the Methodist Hospital and was the organist for the Army Reserve Unit for 20 years in Houston Texas. Ann was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hammond and was also a member of the Hammond Garden Club. Surviving are brother & sister- in-law, John and Juanita Pearson. She is preceded in death by brother, Ernest Eugene Pearson Jr. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 from 10:00 until Memorial Service begins at the First United Methodist Church in Hammond. Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 11:00 am at the First United Methodist Church of Hammond. Interment will follow in Little Rock, Arkansas at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to be made to the First United Methodist Church in Hammond or The Hammond Garden Club Memorial Fund.
