PEAVEY,LAWRENCE FRANKLIN
Lawrence Franklin Peavey, 93, died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2005, at North Oaks
Medical Center, Hammond.  A native of Tangipahoa, he was a truck driver 
and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of First United 
Methodist Church of Amite and the Greensburg Masonic Lodge. Survivors 
include a daughter, Maire Peavey Badon, Ponchatoula; a son, Frank Peavey, 
Baton Rouge; a sister, Jewell Peavey Rymer of Harsell, Ala.; two grand-
children and two great-grandchildren.  His wife, Margie East Peavey, 
preceded him in death.  The Rev. Bill Willis conducted the funeral on 
Thursday, Feb. 17.  Burial was at Tangipahoa Cemetery in Tangipahoa.  
McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, was in charge.
