PENNY, ELLA VIRGINIA TRUDEAU
Mrs. F. D. Penny, 83, of Hammond, died Monday in Baton Rouge.  Born Ella
Virginia Trudeau on 25 May 1849 in Baton Rouge.  Her husband, F. D. Penny,
preceded her in death four years ago.  Interment in Greenlawn Cemetery,
Hammond. Survived by four sons, Lee Penny of Hammond, S. Penny of St.
Joseph, MO, D. M. Penny of Tucson, AZ and A. M. Penny of New Orleans.

PENNY, ETHEL MULLER COWEN
Mrs. J. W. Penny, 34, died at home in Ponchatoula, Wednesday.  Formerly,
Mrs. Ethel Muller Cowen.  Funeral was Wednesday; interment in Wetmore
Cemetery.  Survived by husband; two children, Beth Cowan and Ada Jeanne
Penny; father, Mr. John Muller.

PENNY, LEE H.
Baton Rouge - Lee H. Penny Jr., 76, died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2002, at his
home. He was a native of Hammond and a veteran of World War II. He is
survived by two sons, Lee H. Penny III and T. Riley Penny Sr.; and five
grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine Riley Penny. 
A memorial service will be held Wednesday at Grace Memorial Episcopal
Church, Hammond, at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests
donations be made to Grace Memorial Episcopal Church, Hammond.
