She was 85 and a native of Louisiana. Visiting at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Thursday. Religious services at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. Wilder. Interment in Parklawn Memorial Gardens. Survived by a sister, Mercedes Stanga, Ponchatoula; a brother, Frank Stanga, Ponchatoula; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husband, Frederick M. Perea; parents, Bob and May Hammond Stanga; and a brother, Bob Stanga. She was a member of FCE, Willing Workers, Rosary Altar Society and American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 47, Ponchatoula. ***************************************************************************
