She lived for 95 years, born to Alcess and Ethel Lane Dragg on Aug. 13, 1910. She was the oldest girl in a family of 11 and the last survivor of this line. Louise left the ninth grade in high school to return from her grandmother's home in Ponchatoula to care for the family when her mother became ill. She married Frank Adam Perilloux on March 7, 1929, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 7, 1974. She is survived by two sons, Frank "Sonny" Norman Perilloux and Bert Dalma Perilloux Sr., both of Bedico; granddaughters, Debra P. Zoerner, Madeline Mlynarski and Julie Gatewood; grandson, Bert D. Perilloux Jr.; and five great-grandchildren, Wallace Adam and Matthew B. Dees, Jacob Perilloux, Katie Gatewood and Grace Perilloux. Mrs. Louise was a charter member of Bedico Baptist Church, having served in many capacities, including leading the singing, teaching junior girls Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and being very involved in the Women's Missionary Union. She used to enjoy raising canaries, working on a 4,000-hen chicken farm and growing lovely flowers in her yard and orchids. Louise and Adam worked side by side in their strawberry fields for many years.
