PERISE, MICHAEL ANTHONY, III
Michael Anthony Perise lll, of Hammond, died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, at
North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond. He was 34, born in Hammond on Saturday,
March 24, 1973. Surviving are father, Michael Anthony Perise ll; mother,
Jana Puloma Perise; two brothers, Kevin Frank Perise and wife Katherine and
Scott Christopher Perise and wife Jessica; two nephews, Sam Michael Perise
and Scott Christopher Perise ll; niece, Sydney Elizabeth Perise; and
grandmothers, Margaret Puloma and Jennie Ferrara. Preceded in death by
infant sisters, Mary and Holly Marie Perise; and grandfathers, Frank
Puloma, Michael Anthony Perise Sr. and Sam D. Ferrara. Friends will be
received at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Hammond, on Saturday, March 1, from
8:30 a.m. until service at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Colonial Cemetery,

PERISE, SALVATORE ANTHONY "SAM"
A resident of Tickfaw, he died Thursday, Nov. 4, 1999, at North Oaks
Medical Center, Hammond. He was 54 and a native of Independence. He was a
U.S. Army veteran. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home,
Hammond, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday, with vigil prayer services at 7:30 p.m.
Visitation at the funeral home chapel from 8 a.m. until religious services
at 10 a.m. Monday, conducted by a Dominican priest. Interment in Colonial
Cemetery. Survived by his wife, Jeanette D. Perise, Tickfaw; two sons,
Anthony Perise, Tickfaw, and Joseph DiBenedetto, Rockford, Ill.; two
daughters, Joann Harper and Amanda Ridgel, both of Tickfaw; a brother,
Joseph Perise, Tickfaw; three sisters, Gilorma Arwood, Big Stone Gap, Va.,
Sadie Saragusa, Independence, and Mary Jane Jimahosa, Marrero; and six
grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Amanda Strahan
Perise.

PERISE, SAM
Last rites for Sam Perise, who died December 24th at his home in Tickfaw,
were held December 26th from Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church in
Tickfaw.  Interment was in Colonial Cemetery, with McKneely Funeral Home in
charge.  He was a resident of Tickfaw for the past 40 years; he was a
native of Italy.  He is survived by his wife; three sons, Tony, Mike and
Vincent Perise of Tickfaw; five daughters, Mrs. Vic Ferina of Chicago,
Ill., Misses Mamie and Marie Perise of Tickfaw, Mrs. Oscar Alfano and Mrs.
Kelly Loria of Tickfaw.
