PERRIEN, GLADYS LORRAINE MISCHLER
A resident of Gonzales and a former resident of Chalmette, she passed away
Friday, Dec. 7, 2007, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Gonzales. She was 81.
Visiting at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, on Sunday, Dec. 9, from 6 p.m. to
9 p.m. Visiting at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, Chalmette, on
Monday, Dec. 10, from 11 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m.
Entombment in St. Vincent de Paul Mausoleum, New Orleans. She is survived
by two sons and daughters-in-law, Leroy and Eretta Perrien, of Baton Rouge,
and Wayne and Sheryl Perrien, of Gonzales; a sister, Bernice Delgado, of
Robert; and four grandchildren, Scott and spouse Dawn, Kale, Patrick and
Adrienne Perrien. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Francis
Perrien Sr.; parents, Henry J. Mischler Sr. and Helena (Barkemeyer)
Mischler; five sisters, Josephine Wagner, Mary Miller, Iola Wagner, Rosalie
Danenhauer and Thais Augustine; and five brothers, Henry Jr., Pete, Joseph,
Curtis and Jacob Mischler. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the
Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center, 4950 Essen Lane, Baton Rouge, LA 70809.
