Burial will be in White Hall Cemetery. *************************************************************************** Obituary published in The Advocate (Baton Rouge): 2/19/2010 PETERSON, HESTER BAHM Hester Bahm Peterson, 89, a native of Husser and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away Sunday, Feb. 14, 2010, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. Hester grew up the oldest of 13 children and graduated from Loranger High School. She traveled and lived with her daughter in Missouri and Ohio before returning to Baton Rouge in 2008. She was a charter member of the Baton Rouge Rose Society and a member of Eastern Star and the Daughters of the Oasis. Hester's strong faith was manifested in her participation and membership at Broadmoor United Methodist Church. She will be fondly remembered for her quilting, German chocolate cakes and love of gardening, especially her roses. She is survived by her daughter, Anne Elise Peterson; granddaughter, Julia Elise Jones; two sisters, Edith Betz and Ella McCrary; and numerous nieces and nephews and family members. Preceded in death by her husband, Harry D. Peterson; parents, Ward and Etta Bahm; and 10 siblings, Eva Fields, Fletcher Bahm, Mary Ives, Robert Bahm, Austin Bahm, Helen McDavid, Warren Bahm, Willie Bahm, Alfred Bahm and Marvin Bahm.
