FRANCES Mrs. Frances Pigno, 71, died late October in Tickfaw. Funeral in Tickfaw; interment in Tickfaw Cemetery. A native of Cimena, Sicily; came to U.S. in 1903 with her husband and six children; lived in Tangipahoa parish for the past 21 years. Survived by four daughters, Mrs. Christine Calvaruso of Plaquemine, Mrs. Victoria Restivo of Tickfaw, Mrs. Joseph DiMaggio of Tickfaw and Mrs. Pauline Sirchia of Independence; two sons, Sam M. Pigno, died Monday, Jan. 3, 2005. She was 71, a native of Independence and a resident of Tickfaw. She is survived by her husband, Sam J. Pigno; two daughters, Cindy Ann Fedele and Linda Marie Pigno; two grandchildren, Krystle Fedele and Brandon Carter; and two sisters, Connie Smith of Zachary and Mary Ann Accardo of Baton Rouge. She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Sampere; mother, Odile Langlois Sampere Inzinna; and a grandson, Brian Fedele. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5, and from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 6.
