He was 81 and a resident of Tangipahoa. Visitation at Tangipahoa United Methodist Church from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday and from 8 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. Ken Norton. Interment in Tangipahoa Cemetery, Tangipahoa. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps from Sept. 12, 1942, to Nov. 10, 1945. During World War II, he served as a sergeant with the 303rd Bomb Group "Hell's Angels" as a special vehicle operator. After discharge, he owned and operated Pike's Garage with his wife Loray B. Pike in Tangipahoa, and he retired after 46 years. He served as an alderman and mayor of the village of Tangipahoa and was a lifelong member of Tangipahoa United Methodist Church. Survived by his wife of 58 years, Loray B. Pike; daughters and sons-in-law, Kathleen and Glenn Kreidler and Glenda and Arnold Duncan; a daughter, Rhonda Penney; son and daughter-in-law, George and Janet Pike; a sister and brother-in- law, Lottie and Charles Milner; eight grandchildren and their spouses, Phillip and Penny Alford, Teresa and Brian West, Rebecca and Eric Roth, Sarah and Ryan Williams, Kelsey and Jacob Williams, Darren Duncan, Kendall Pike and Ken Kreidler; and three great-grandchildren, Amanda Alford, William Alford and Alexis Roth. RANDAL O. Rev. Randal O. Pike, 56 years old of Hammond, died Thursday, March 4, 2010, in the Louisiana Heart Hospital. He was born on Thursday, September 10, 1953, in Beaumont, TX. Rev. Pike has been a pastor for 29 years in Texas and Louisiana. He was currently the pastor of Jerusalem Baptist Church in Pumpkin Center. He served his country in the United States Air Force. Surviving are his wife, Gail Pike; daughter, Angela Pike; daughter & son-in-law, Missy and Stephen Mann; son, John Mark Pike; father, Ollie Eugene Pike; 3 brothers & sisters-in-law, Michael and Wanda Pike, William and Dawn Pike, Paul Ray and Darla Pike; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Bobbie Yvonne Pike.
