He was the husband of Rosalie (Galladora) Pisciotta. Born in New Orleans on November 24, 1926 to the late Vincent and Rosie (Lawrence) Pisciotta. He served in the US Navy during World War II. He owned and operated an automotive repair shop until his retirement. In addition to his wife Rosalie, survivors include, son Ellis and wife Charlene, son Ronald and wife Madelene, son Vincent and wife Karen, son Richard, daughter Theresa and husband Paul Domiano, son John, daughter Rose and husband Steve Galofaro, sixteen grandchildren, five great-grand- children, brother Vincent and wife Tena, sister Mary Ann Pisciotta, sister-in-law Catherine (Galladora) Ellzey, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Ralph. Friends will be received on Saturday, July 21, 2007 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church in Tickfaw. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in the Tickfaw Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to the US Department of Veterans Affairs or Hospice. She was born on Wednesday, April 20, 1927, in Tickfaw. She lived her entire life in Tickfaw and her farthest travels brought her to Rockford, Ill., and to touch the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Florida on her honeymoon. She enjoyed cooking, making bread and caring for her family. Her 10 grandchildren were the delight of her life. She devoted much of her life to caring for her aging parents and her younger sister, Sally. She was born on Monday, July 24, 1933. Mrs. Pisciotta was a member of Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church in Tickfaw where her presence will be greatly missed. Her example of loyalty and dedication to her family will be remembered for many years to come. Surviving are her husband of 46 years, Vincent Anthony Pisciotta; three sons and daughters-in-law, Vincent and Michele Pisciotta, Michael and Deana Pisciotta and Terry and Cynthia Pisciotta; sister, Virginia Pecararo Bravata; and 10 grandchildren, Logan, Laurie, Zachary, Cara, Brady, Vincent, Quinlan, Rebecca, Cody and Sophia.
