He was a native of New Orleans and worked in warehousing. He is survived by his wife, Michelle Pitre; two daughters, Jacqueline J. and Madison Pitre, both of Albany; and one brother, Jack C. Cothern of Albany. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jacqueline B. Cothern. Burial was in Parklawn Cemetery, Ponchatoula. Lisa G. Pitre, of Covington, Louisiana, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2013 at the age of 51. Beloved wife of Keith, mother of Tiffany and Nicholas (Heather), and grandmother of Connor and Vivian. Daughter of Poly Hill and the late Tom Hill, and daughter-in-law of Henry Pitre and the late Vivian Pitre. Lisa is also survived by her brother, Mike Hill, and her sister-in-law, Eddie-Rae Melton, as well as several nieces and nephews. Lisa devoted her life to her family and to the children she taught and loved as an educator at Oaks Montessori School in Hammond, Louisiana. She has brought joy and light into the lives of so many and is loved and will be deeply missed by us all. Pitre, both of French Settlement; four sisters, Juanita Lafleur of Holden and Jeanette Robert, Ethel Box and Sandra Huguet, all of Opelousas. His parents, Hebert and Mable Pitre, and a granddaughter preceded him in death.
