Although his family was most important in his life, he enjoyed fishing and hunting along with building and racing his mustang during his spare time. Donald was a parishioner at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ponchatoula and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #4874. Surviving Donald is his wife, Sylvia Pitts along with their children Melanie Sibley and husband Adam, Marcus Pitts and wife Danielle and Julianne Pitts. Donald leaves behind his only granddaughter, Bella Grace Pitts as well as his two brothers, Michael and Kevin Pitts and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sarah McLeod and father, Louis Pitts. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Brandon G.
