He was 72 and a native of Sleepy Eye, Minn. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, Saturday, Aug. 28, from 9 a.m. until religious service at noon. Interment in Rose Memorial Park Cemetery. Survived by his wife, Jean Benoit Plamann, Pumpkin Center; three daughters, Sharon Plamann, Ponchatoula, Vickie P. Kinchen, Springhill, and Cathy P. Byrd, Pumpkin Center; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, William "Bill" Plamann, Watkins, Minn.; and two sisters, Shirley P. Kamm, Courtland, Minn., and Charlotte P. Kamm, North Mankato, Minn. Preceded in death by his father, William Plamann; mother, Bertha Franke Kuelbs; a brother, Tommy Plamann; and a sister, Gloria P.
