PLUEMER, BARBARA JANE NELSON 
A resident of Hammond and a native of Chicago, she died Thursday, June 16,
2005, at her home. She was 74. Visiting at First Presbyterian Church in
Hammond from 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 22, until memorial service at 11 a.m.,
conducted by the Rev. Ed Carver and the Rev. Jim Statan. She is survived by
her husband, David Pluemer, Hammond; two sons, David Scott Pluemer,
Hillsboro, N.C., and Bruce Nelson Pluemer, Woodstock, Ga.; three daughters,
Sharon Lee Patel, Mandeville, Robin Louise Chao, Atlanta, and Nancy Ann
Mercante, Ponchatoula; 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She
was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Leta Nelson; and a sister,
Ruth Nelson. Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, is in charge of
arrangements.
