He was a deacon at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Hammond. Survivors include his wife, Clotile Plummer of Hammond; one daughter, Tammy Plummer of Hammond; and one brother, Preston Plummer of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. His son, Sammy Plummer; and five sisters and brothers, preceded him in death. Visitation will be Friday at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, Hammond, from 6 to 9 p.m. The Rev. Willie Gable Jr. will conduct the funeral Saturday at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Holly Gardens Cemetery, Hammond. N.A. Gloria was born on September 23, 1935, in Wadesboro, daughter of the late Simon Schum Sr. and the late Agnes Braud Schum. She was employed with Davill Petroleum for 35 years. Surviving are husband, William Plummer, daughter & son-in-law, Cynthia Davis Cosgrove and Eddie Cosgrove Jr., stepdaughters and their husbands, Susan and Jack Hamaker and Donna and Larry Tycer, stepson and his wife, Billy and Joie Plummer, sisters and brothers-in-law, Loretta and Curtis Kennedy and Veronica and M.J. Ohlmeyer, brothers & sisters-in-law, Simon and Diana Schum, David and Linda Schum and Wayne and Gearldine Schum, granddaughters, Katina and Karla Cosgrove, great-granddaughter, Kayla Beadle, step-grandchildren, Alex Plummer, Keaton Tycer, Amy Smith, Brandt Tycer and also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by first husband, Adolph Davis, sister, Audrey Schum Poston, brother-in-law, Robert L. Poston, grandson, Edward Adolph Cosgrove.
