PONTIFF, THAIR BURLISON
Mrs. Thair Burlison Pontiff, 81 years old, of Metairie, died Friday,
November 28, 2008 in Regency Hospital of Covington. She was born on
Tuesday, September 27, 1927 in Pensacola, Florida.  Surviving are her 
daughter & son-in-law, Wanda & Anthony Sambola Jr.; son, Francis J. Pontiff
Jr.; 4 grandchildren, Damon Pontiff , Melissa Williams, Anthony Sambola
III, Jamie Matherne and 5 great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by
her husband, Francis J. Pontiff Sr. and mother and step-father, Aletha H.
and Charles Heausler; 4 brothers and 2 sisters.  Friends will be received
Tuesday, December 2, 2008, from 9:00 am until the service begins at 2:00 pm
at the Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula.  Interment will 
follow in the Parklawn Memorial Gardens, Hammond, LA.  An on-line Guestbook
