Long Medical Center. He was 50 and a native of Tangipahoa. Visiting at Winnfield Funeral Home, 7221 Plank Road, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday. Religious services at Quinn Chapel AME Church, 102 Martin Luther King Drive, Tangipahoa, at 10 a.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. Leroy Franklin. Interment in Winnfield Memorial Park, Baton Rouge. Survived by his wife, Linda W. Pool; father and mother, Leon Pool and Doretha Pool; a daughter, Keisha Rogers; three sons, Troy Mercelous, Kenny Anderson and Delwin Atkins; four sisters, Margaret Morris and Connie Dyson, both of Tangipahoa, Shirley Snowden, Baker, and Lavern Campbell, Jacksonville, Fla.; and four brothers, Larry Pool and Stanley Pool, both of Baton Rouge, Michael Pool, Magnolia, Miss., and Ronald Pool, Progress, Miss. Preceded in death by grandmothers, Ethel Vernon and Mamie Pool; grandfathers, Ben Vernon and Richard Pool Sr. He became a member of Quinn Chapel AME Church at an early age. He attended Casey Lane Elementary School and O.W. Dillion High School in Tangipahoa. He is survived by his wife, Gavella Lampton Pool of Tangipahoa; three sons, Richard Pool III and Edward Eugene Pool, both of Tangipahoa, and George Anthony Pool of Kentwood; five daughters, Carolyn Pool Thomas and Mary Joe Pool, both of Tangipahoa; Marilyn P.
