Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Richardson Funeral Home. The Rev. Hosea Cook will conduct the funeral at11 a.m. Monday at Mt. Canaan Baptist Church. Burial will be at Mt. She was born on Monday, April 9, 1923, in Frenchtown, Louisiana. She was owner and operator of Homer's Place in Springfield. Mrs. Lily May was the first and known to be the only female to run for sheriff in Livingston Parish.
