She was born July 11, 1908 in Husser, daughter of the late Louie and Vicy Reid Populus. Surviving are her son, Charles "Jesse" A. Populus; sister, Eunice Muscarello; daughter-in-law, Susan McManes Populus; seven grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Fener Baham, Jennie Lewis, Olivet Baham, and Arlean Creel; three brothers, Garfield, Edgar, and Preston Populus. Friends will be received Thursday, February 8, 2007 at Harry McKneely & Son in Hammond from 11 a.m. until the 2 p.m. Funeral Home Chapel Service, conducted by Rev. Gerald Brinkley.
