PRAGER, BETTY PENN
Betty Penn Prager, native of Ponchatoula, resident of Mandeville, passed 
away Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at the Ponchartrain Guest House in Mandeville.
Ms. Prager is preceded in death by her parents, Abraham J "Abe" Penn and 
Stella "Mackie" Penn, two brothers Abraham J "A. J." Penn and Henry Penn, 
and two brothers-in-law Lawrence B. "L. B." Hoover and Rayford W. Pearson, 
Sr. all of Ponchatoula.  She is survived by two sisters, her twin Joyce 
Penn Hoover of Ponchatoula and Shirley Penn Pearson of Kentwood. She is 
also survived by nieces Gwen Hoover; Cynthia Hoover Walters; Judy Pearson 
Ardoin and Kristie Penn Rinker, nephews Rayford W Pearson Jr.; Doyle E. 
Hoover; Richard W Pearson; Chadwick M. Penn, all of Ponchatoula, and Joseph 
J. "Joey" Trippey of Metairie, and numerous great nieces and nephews.  A 
memorial service will be held in her honor on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, from 
2 to 4 p.m. at the Ponchatoula Kiwanis Log Cabin.  An on-line guest book is
