With such a loving soul and a lively spirit, she truly touched so many. On Saturday, March 13, 2010, at her home, Helen was peacefully granted her wings surrounded by loved ones. She graduated from Hammond High School and attended LSU. Helen was a former Miss FBLA of Hammond High, guided by Ms. Myrtle Gatlin. She was a former pianist at Woodlawn Park Baptist Church. For the last 25 years, she could be found at Shorty's Ribs & Seafood helping her dear friend, Shorty Rogers. Survived by her one and only daughter and son-in-law, Tiffani and Greg Morgan; three grandchildren, Jeremy, Jarid and wife Danielle, and Jardyn; great- grandchild, Jet, of Columbia, Tenn.; one and only sister, Beverly Rutherford; brother-in-law, Lavern; one and only niece, Gizell Simmons and husband Eric; great-nephew, Hunter and wife Jaime; and great-niece Hannah. Preceded in passing by parents, Floyd and Edna Crawford. Forever in our hearts; forever a SAINT!
