She was born on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 1932, in Independence, daughter of the late Nobby Sinagra and the late Catherine Sinagra. She was employeed with Mater Dolorosa School and Southeastern Louisiana University, and was a member of the KC Ladies and Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church. Surviving are loving husband, Anthony Prescia Sr., son & daughter-in-law, Anthony and Betty Prescia Jr., son & daughter-in-law, Sal and JoAnn Prescia Sr., daughter & son-in-law, Geraldine and Raymond LaBarre, son & daughter-in-law, Joseph and April Prescia, grandchildren, Chris Prescia, Michael Prescia, Sal Prescia Jr., Jessica Prescia, Kristian Prescia, Eric Prescia, Tiffany Burrescia and Jennifer LaBarre, great-grandchildren, Collin Prescia, Conner Prescia, Brady Burrescia and Brody Burrescia. She is preceded in death by brothers, John, Frank, and Angelo Sinagra, sisters, Marie Caruso and Annie Marretta. Friends will be received Saturday, March 3, 2012 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church.
