PRESCOTT, RICHARD G., SR.  "DICKIE"
A native and resident of Kentwood, he died at 2 a.m. Saturday, July 3,
1999, at his home. He was 64. Visiting at McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood,
from 9 a.m. Monday until religious services at 1 p.m., conducted by the
Rev. Dennis Mitchell. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, Kentwood. Survived by
a son, Richard G. "Rick" Prescott Jr., Kentwood; two daughters, Raine Kay
Himel, Loranger, and Ronde Fay Newman, Kentwood; two brothers, Fredric
"Sonny" Prescott and Jack Wayne "Boots" Prescott, both of Kentwood; six
grandchildren, Jason, Dane and Chase Prescott, Bret and Bryce Himel and
Gabe Newman; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his
parents, Jack and Eva Sanders Prescott.
