PRESSLEY, LEARLINE
Velma -- Learline Pressley, 89, a native of Velma died Monday, April 25,
2005, at her home.  Survivors include three sons, Bernard Herrin and
Charles Butler, both of Velma, and Robert Pressley Jr. of Houma; four
daughters, Betty Butler of Velma, Yvonne Butler, Marie Clements and Carrie
L. Dokes; 25 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in
death by Gustine Butler, Azrie Butler Sr., Azrie Butler Jr. , Ruby Lemard,
Alphonse Butler, Emile Williams, Augustine Johnson, Lorina Butler and
Charles Butler.  Visitation will be at Bickham Chapel Church Saturday from
9 a.m. until the Rev. Ernest Peters Sr. conducts the funeral at 11. Burial
will follow in Butler's Cemetery, Amite.  Richardson Funeral Home of Amite
is in charge of arrangements.
