Stephen was a resident of Clanton, Alabama for two years and a long time resident of Hammond, La. He was born on Dec. 1, 1975 in Metairie, La, son of Richard and Linda Prima. He touched everyone he met with his joy and happiness. His humor, courage, and strength were an inspiration .He will be dearly missed. He was a wonderful husband to wife Shannon, an adoring father to Kaitlyn, a beautiful son to Richard and Linda, and a former Marine in the USMC. He was a special son-in-law to Ray Hardee and wife Phyllis of Clanton, Al; brother-in law to Michael Hardee and wife Angie of Mobile, Al.; Rafe Hardee of Mobile, Al; and uncle to nephews Jeffrey Hardee, Devon and Dustin Hardee, and Trey Hardee of Mobile, Al. He leaves behind his loving wife, Shannon Prima,one daughter, Kaitlyn Prima of Clanton, Alabama; his parents, Linda and Richard Prima of Hammond, La; brother, Matthew Prima and wife Shawn of St. Martinville, La; one grand- mother, Eldine LeBlanc of Lafayette, La; one niece, Lindsey Prima, two nephews, Noah Prima and his beloved godson, Joshua Prima of Hammond, La; Godmother and Aunt, Mary Howley and husband Russell of Metairie La; Godfather and Uncle Daniel LeBlanc and wife Charmaine; Uncle Bobby LeBlanc and wife Dedra of Lafayette; Loving cousins; Melanie Martin and husband Ryan, Dusty LeBlanc and wife Dawn ; Candice LeBlanc of Lafayette, La; Ryan LeBlanc and wife Carrie of San Francisco, Cal.; David Howley and wife Colleen of Metairie,La; Lisa Hidalgo and husband, Randy; Tina Knappf and husband Kenneth, of Hammond, La; Marlene Oschner and husband Alton and Justin April of Hammond, La. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Donna LeBlanc,praternal grandmother, Anita Prima, praternal grandfather, Leonard Louis Prima, Sr., praternal aunt, Anita April and husband Irwin, praternal uncle, Leonard Louis Prima, Jr (Buck) and praternal aunt, Dorothy Krone. Visitation will be at Harry McKneely and Son in Hammond, La,Wednesday , October 14, 2009 starting at 9:00 am to 1:00pm. Religious services to follow at funeral home with interment at St. Dominicks's Catholic Church cemetery in Husser, La.
