PRIVETTE, MARGARET ATHERTON VARNADO
Margaret Atherton Varnado Privette, 86, died Monday, June 7, 2004.  A
native of Bolivar and a resident of Hammond, Privette was a member of
Causeway Boulevard Church of Christ.  She is survived by four sons, Paul W.
Varnado, Bruce J. Varnado, Matthew Varnado and Maurice Varnado Jr.; five
sisters, Alice Gauthier, Dorothy Carter, Mildred Sinifit, Agnes Seaman and
Mary C. Braud; two brothers, Charles Atherton and James G. Atherton Jr.; 11
grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by
her husband, Ralph Privette, and a son, John W. Varnado.  Visitation and a
memorial service were held Saturday at First Christian Church, Disciples of
Christ in Mandeville. Schoen Funeral Home in Covington handled the
arrangements.
