PROKOP, ELIZABETH ARANYOSI
Albany - Elizabeth Aranyosi Prokop, 89, died Saturday, March 23, 2002, at
Landmark of Baton Rouge. She was a native of Makkos Jois, Hungary. She is
survived by one brother, two grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Andy Geza Prokop Jr.; a daughter,
Elizabeth "Tootsie" Haydel; a son, John "Nunnie" Prokop; and her parents,
Peter and Julia Regosi Aranyosi. A Mass of Christian burial was held this
morning at St. Margaret Catholic Church in Albany, and burial was in the
church cemetery. Harry McKneely & Son, Hammond, was in charge.

PROKOP, JULIA
Albany - Albany native Julia Prokop, 82, died Friday, July 19, 2002, at her
home. She is survived by one son, James M. "Jimmy" Prokop of Albany; and
three grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Prokop;
two brothers, Frank and Joe Gaydos; and one sister, Elizabeth Laird. 
Visitation will be today at Geisler Funeral Home in Albany from 6 to 9 p.m.
and Monday from 8 a.m. until the funeral at 9. Burial will be in St.
Margaret Cemetery in Albany. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to
the Red Cross.

PROKOP, STEVE J.
Steve J, Prokop, Jr., 61, died, December 23, 2006, at North Oaks Medical
Center in Hammond, Louisiana.  He was a retired welder from local 189 in
Baton Rouge.  He is survived by his daughter Tracie Prokop Hutchinson of
Albany; 3 sons: Steven Don Prokop and his wife, Ashly, of Albany, Michael
Jason Prokop of Baton Rouge and Robert Joseph Prokop of Baton Rouge. His
mother: Ethel K. Prokop and a sister: Pat Prokop Degenhardt, both of
Albany. 2 grandchildren, Jonathan Lee and Kayla Nicole Hutchinson of
Albany. Along with multiple nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be from
11:00 AM until 1:45 PM, Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at Geisler Funeral Home
in Albany. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 PM at St. Margaret Catholic
Church in Albany. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
